WELCOME TO BATH 2020
2020 is very much the year of the EV; with the public's attention on the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath.
The City will launch its Clean Air Zone to encourage a shift towards cleaner transportation.
And the University of Bath will open its £60m Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (iAAPS), one of the world's leading facilities supporting collaborative research with the automotive industry to develop future generations of ultra-low emissions vehicles.
iAAPS builds on the University of Bath's Department of Mechanical Engineering's strong track record of delivering propulsion system research with impact. For the last 40 years, their approach has been to align research conducted by some of the world's best engineers with specific industrial challenges.
